Come on a gentle stroll around the grounds of the Eco Centre with Leslie. We’ll identify trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants within the space and discuss what they are, how they can benefit your own garden and what their requirements are in order to perform at their best.
Venue: Derbyshire Eco Centre
Approximate course length: 2 hours
This course is for:
Anyone interested in knowing more about plants you may have or want to grow in your garden.
You will learn:
• plant name
• how a plant may benefit your own garden
• the plants’ requirements/ optimum conditions
This is an outdoor course / workshop which will provide an opportunity to develop horticulture skills in a friendly, sociable environment.
If there’s time, your tutor will be happy to answer questions about the plants you have in your own garden, so take good quality/in focus photos (both of the entire plant and a close-up of leaf/flower) and bring them with you.
Work outside of the sessions:
This is not required, though we hope you will want to put what you have learned into practice.
Additional costs and what to prepare:
There are no other costs.
Wear clothes and footwear appropriate for being outside and the weather.
