The Premiere of The Story of Stoney Wood – a beautiful new film by the creative duo Gavin Repton and Mark Gwynne-Jones, capturing the journey from bare limestone chippings to the woodland we love today; with entertaining out-takes from Mark Gwynne-Jones. There will also be a showing the art film and animated classic, The Man Who Planted Trees, the story which inspired the planting of the wood, and looking to Wirksworth’s next community tree planting project with the Wild Maple Trust.
