Film Screening : The Underground Journey

Wirksworth Heritage Centre is delighted to screen the historic film ‘The Underground Journey’.
The Underground Journey charts the story of a daring underground journey through the soughs and ancient lead mines beneath Cromford and the surrounding area. Filmed originally around 1964 on 16mm cine filmed and transferred to DVD format. The night also features an illustrated introduction by Tony Holmes, outing the 9.5-mile journey!
