Join the National Stone Centre this Christmas for a range of festive and geological activities for all the family!
For the first time, market stalls will be hosted in the site’s brand new marquee, hosted over ten local businesses selling a variety of goods.
Live music will take place throughout the day, with performances from the BM&W Brass band and Ukeswirks.
Experience Santa’s Grotto, which will be open for children to visit from 10am-12pm and 12:30pm-3pm. Alongside Santa’s Grotto is the ‘Search the Santa’s Reindeer’; an activity that challenges children to find all of Santa’s nine reindeer across the geological site in return for a reward. Geological activities, such as gem panning, guided geo-trail tours and the rock shop will also be available for visitors.
The day is free-to-attend (excluding parking), with multiple options to donate throughout the day.
Tickets aren’t required to attend the event, but registering your attendance in advance allows the NSC to manage the expectation of visitors to the event more efficiently.
