Some shops are there to serve a town - others shape them. SKOPA, Wirksworth’s zero-waste shop, is the result of friends Sarah and Belinda’s passion for the environment and has been leading the way in sustainable shopping since opening at the start of 2020. With a wide range of foods, oils, herbs and spices as well as cleaning products, skin and hair-care, they source products wherever they can locally, reducing emissions as well as unnecessary packing that would otherwise end up in landfill. No wonder they look happy.
