Feather Star

Jo & Rob are the brains behind the Feather Star Alehouse which brings the best local beers from regional breweries. Their tap wall houses up to 13 craft beers, lager and 5 real ciders and they still mix it up with selling vinyl records - quality used vinyl alongside new reissues.

With regular music nights, pub quizzes and more they joined forces with their friends at The Lion Hotel (above) who offer bar snacks and takeaway food in to enjoy in the pub. It's a little slice of magic rightly recognised in the Observer OFM Best Places to Eat & Drink Awards 2022 and won the Matlock & Dales Campaign for Real Ale Pub of the Year Competition 2023.
