Alex the Shoemaker

Alex Reed is, by his own admission, not your average cobbler. He’s a shoe fanatic and a cobbling genius, bringing new life to old shoes using traditional techniques and vintage equipment to provide a real quality service. Now in his new, permanent shop on St John Street, Alex moved up from Bristol to bring his skills to the rolling hills of the Derbyshire Dales.
